Insurance: Like-for-like product replacement slide

Note: If you don’t have access to the Risk Researcher Xplan module, but someone else in your practice does (like a paraplanner), they can create the preso with their access, then hand it over to you to present or share with your client.

This slide displays a like-for-like table comparing your client’s existing insurance policies with your recommendation and an alternate policy.

Subslides

None by default, but a subslide will be created on the fly if you add notes to the slide.

Interactivity

The dropdown at the top filters the view to show the product replacement recommendations for whichever entity is chosen, or All.
Clicking the entity or policy type headings in the table expands to list their respective details. Clicking them again collapses them.
You can create actions and notes before, after and even during your meetings:
Clicking Filter data opens the filtering drawer:

This gives you fine-grained control over exactly which policy types, policies and columns to include on the slide.

Note: While most of the interactivity across the content is also available to your clients in presos you share with them, the filter drawer is not. Make sure that all the data you want them to be able to see is turned on in the filter drawer before you share a preso with them.

Data

The data for this slide comes from your chosen Risk Researcher scenario.

Filtering

The 4 columns automatically show the relevant data according to their cover status as follows:

Existing — vary or replace
Existing policy in recommended strategy — vary_to_existing
Recommended — recommend
Alternate — alternate

Personalisation options

Your practice admin can set your brand colour in HQ. In the screenshot example above, the light blue used in the header is the brand colour.
Your practice admin can set your practice’s colour palette in PresoManager. In the screenshot examples above, the pink and dark blue are 2 of the 3 the colours in the chosen palette. The palette is also used throughout the deck for charts, entities and asset classes.
Your practice admin can set your practice’s default text for the slide’s heading, footer/disclaimer and introductory text, as well as the subslides' introductory text in PresoManager.

Prep mode editability

When you open this slide in prep mode you will have the following editing options for your preso:

You can edit the title of the slide (“Insurance: Replacement of product” by default).
You can edit the slide’s introductory text.
You can edit the column headings.
You can remove rows from the table by clicking the red delete icons on the left-hand side of each row:
You can put removed rows back by clicking the green plus icons on the left-hand-side of each removed row:
You can remove whole policy types, policies and/ or columns by clicking Filter data at the top of the slide to open the filter drawer:

Then turn on/off the policies and columns as desired and click Apply.
You can preview your changes by clicking the Preview changes toggle at the bottom of the screen.

Notes on PDF version

The PDF version of this slide will include as many pages as required to display all of the expanded views.
