LivePreso Advice billing

Last updated 6 December, 2023

Each Xplan site can be set up to manage pricing, free trials and billing differently. For example, a dealer group might set up their site so that all billing goes through them, or billing can be directly from your practice to LivePreso.

Direct billing

If your Xplan site is set up for direct billing (the most common scenario), you will see a screen during sign-up as follows:

The screen confirms:

  • That you will start with a free trial.

  • The end date of your free trial.
Note: If you cancel before your free trial end date you will not be charged anything.

  • The initial amount you will be charged (for your own user licence) following the trial. LivePreso bills per calendar month, so when your paid term begins you initially pay the pro rata amount for the remainder of the current month.

  • The amount you will pay per calendar month thereafter.
Note: This is the amount for your own user licence. If your practice has other users, the amount you will pay each month will be the total based on the number of user licences of each type and price.

Once you have read that and the subscriber terms, and confirmed that you are authorised to represent your practice, you will see the credit card screen:

We require that you enter credit cards details when signing up. However, you won’t be charged anything until your free trial has ended, at which time you’ll be charged the initial pro rata amount for any active users in your practice, then the monthly amounts as described above and on the pricing page. But you can cancel at any time during your free trial and you won’t be charged anything at all.

Note: All credit card details and transactions are handled by Stripe, who are global leaders in payment processing, with industry-leading security. LivePreso will never have access to your credit card details.

Billing via your dealer group

If your Xplan site is set up for billing through your dealer group, you will see a screen during sign-up as follows:

The screen confirms:

  • That you will start with a free trial.

  • The end date of your free trial.
Note: If you cancel before your free trial end date you will not be charged anything.

  • The initial amount you will be charged by your dealer group (for your own user licence) following the trial. LivePreso bills per calendar month, so when your paid term begins you initially pay the pro rata amount for the remainder of the current month.

  • The amount you will pay to your dealer group per calendar month thereafter.
Note: This is the amount for your own user licence. If your practice has other users, the amount you will pay each month will be the total based on the number of user licences of each type and price.

Once you have read that and the subscriber terms, and confirmed that you are authorised to represent your practice, you will have completed your sign-up. You won’t see any credit card screens as you will be billed and charged by your dealer group.

You won’t be charged anything until your free trial has ended, at which time your dealer group will bill you for the initial pro rata amount for any active users in your practice, then the monthly amounts as described above and on the pricing page. But you can cancel at any time during your free trial and you won’t be charged anything at all.
