  1. Click Add slide at the top-right of the slide sorter to open the side drawer.

  2. (Optionally) Preview a template by clicking on its thumbnail in the drawer, then click Done.

  3. Click the drag handle (blue star) of the template you want to use, and drag-and-drop it where you want your new slide.

  4. The slide will pop open ready for editing, and you’ll notice it will automatically adopt your practice’s branding colour (which your practice manager can set up in HQ).

  5. By default, your slide will be given the name of the template you chose. Make sure to give your new slide a friendly name at the top-right of screen, as this is what appears in the slide sorter, in reporting and in the notifications you receive when your clients view a preso you’ve shared with them:

  6. Go ahead and enter your content. See below for specific details on editing Editing text, images and videos for more specific instructions.

  7. Note that some templates are pretty fixed while others have a panel like this one that lets you structure the slide the way you want:

  8. When you’ve finished editing your slide, click Done.

  9. Add any other slides you want and make sure to click Save in the slide sorter when you’re finished.

Click anywhere in the text box you want to edit.

A formatting menu will pop up. The formatting options you see will depend on what type of content it is to ensure visual consistency. For a heading you’ll see a limited amount of formatting:

Click anywhere outside the text box to save your changes.

Editing images

If there is already an image in the image box, first remove it:

  1. Click on the image once to bring up the image menu:

  2. Click the 3-dot icon (blue star) .

  3. Click Remove.

To add a new image or replace one that was there:

Note: Be careful to upload images that are optimised for screen resolution. Photos taken with smartphones or digital cameras are typically way too large to be suitable.

  1. Click anywhere on the image box once. This will open your computer’s file chooser.

  2. Find the image file on your computer and click to confirm.

  3. Position and size your image within the image box. There are a few buttons/functions to help you make it exactly how you want:

  4. Zoom buttons to zoom your image in and out.

  5. Click and drag to position your image

  6. From the 3-dot menu (blue star)

    1. Zoom to fit within ensures your whole image fits within the image box. Depending on the relative dimensions of your image compared to the image box, this may result in whitespace above, below or to the sides of your image.

    2. Zoom to entirely cover ensures the whole image box is covered by your image. Depending on the relative dimensions of your image compared to the image box, this may result in your image being cropped to fit.

    3. Rotate right and Rotate left turn your image 90° in either direction.

  7. Click anywhere outside the image box to save your changes.

Editing videos

Templates with videos on them allow you to embed any publicly accessible Youtube video (including unlisted videos). To add one to your slide:

  1. Click into the text field under Youtube video URL.

  2. Paste in the Youtube URL for your video.

  3. Click the arrow next to the text field to save. Your video will display in the box.

Adding slides you’ve created to your slide library

...

  1. Click on a slide you’ve created from a template to view it.

  2. If the side drawer isn’t open, click the details button (blue star) to open it.:

  3. Click Copy to my library.

  4. Give your slide a short, friendly name and click Create.

Your slide will now appear in the side drawer beneath the built-in templates in a section named My Slide Library.

To use the slide again in any preso:

  1. Click Add slide at the top-right of the slide sorter to open the side drawer.

  2. Scroll the drawer down to the My Slide Library section.

  3. (Optionally) Preview your slide by clicking on its thumbnail in the drawer, then click Done.

  4. Click the drag handle (blue star) of the slide you want to use, and drag-and-drop it where you want it.:

  5. The slide will pop open ready for any editing you may want to do, then click Done.
