Video: Understanding the appointment screen

Transcript
The appointment screen is like a hub for your preso, where all actions for, and info about, your preso are located.
Some of the key actions are detailed in other videos, but let’s work our way through everything on the screen to understand what it does.
Starting at the top, you can click in here to rename your preso. This is just for your reference in Livepreso; your clients won’t see it.
Over on the right, you can delete the preso altogether, or you can edit any of the info you chose when creating it.
In the main section of the screen, the left-hand side shows the preso’s basic info, like who it’s for, what content deck was used and when it’s scheduled for.
You can quickly reschedule your preso right here.
Down here you can see your client contacts. The checkboxes are for confirming who’s actually in a meeting for compliance purposes, which is covered in more detail in Presenting presos to your clients.
The right-hand side shows everything that happens to your preso over time.
Starting at the bottom, we can see this preso was created, then presented for 15 minutes to the clients, then a copy was shared with them, and then they viewed it in their own time for a further 6 minutes. All this activity is also stored in Xplan, so there’s a complete audit trail for compliance and for your own insights.
You can even view slide-by-slide exactly what was presented and viewed in granular detail.
The blue boxes at the top aggregate all the presenting, sharing and viewing stats so you can see the overall metrics at a glance.
Down the bottom are all the main actions for your preso, which are covered in other videos. But let’s quickly run through what they’re for.
The big blue start preso button is for starting presentation mode when you’re in a meeting with your clients. It might be in person or you might screenshare with them remotely. If it’s in person, note that this preso is “available offline”, meaning you don’t need to worry about your internet connection while you present.
Slides and Prep are 2 ways to select, edit and preview your interactive content to prepare it for your client. They’re covered in Prepping and editing your preso.
Hand Over lets, say, a paraplanner create the preso on behalf of the adviser and then hand it over to them to present and share. It’s covered in Handing over presos to colleagues.
At LivePreso, we don’t much like PDFs, as they’re not interactive and we can’t track them for you. But we know that sometimes you just need a printed version. You can request one here and it will be generated and emailed to you. It’s covered in Making PDFs of your presos.
Invite lets you send a proper calendar invite to your clients.
And share lets you generate a secure, custom link for your clients, so they can view the interactive preso in any browser on any device. Sharing is covered in Sharing presos with your clients.
