Only available to users with the PresoManager role
As a dealer group admin or practice admin, you can use PresoManager to make your own slides for your group or practice, and to update the default text, images and videos on LivePreso’s built-in slides.
But sometimes you might want to provide internal-only instructions to everyone in your dealer group, site or practice. Instead of having notes in the slides themselves (like what are typical in most Word templates) that users need to remember to delete before using with their clients, LivePreso provides 2 ways for you to include training and guidance content:
1. Internal notes
You can set the default, in-situ notes for every slide—both your own and LivePreso’s built-in slides. They can include simple formatting and external links.
In PresoManager, you can add/edit notes for any slide.
Click on a slide’s thumbnail to open it in edit mode.
Click the notes button at the top-right of the screen to open the notes panel:
Add or edit your notes, then click Done.
When you’re finished making all your changes in PresoManager, click Publish.
Advisers and paraplanners can access the notes in 2 places, depending on their preferred workflow:
Accessing notes via prep mode
Click the notes button in the toolbar at the bottom-right of screen to open the notes panel:
Click the notes button at the top-right of screen to open the notes panel:
2. Prep-only slides
Prep-only slides are whole slides that only appear in prep mode, and that automatically turn themselves off when presenting to or sharing with clients.
For example, you may want to provide instructions to your group or practice on how or when to use certain slides, or what to say when they do:
You can make as many prep-only slides as you like and publish to everyone instantly.
From PresoManager, drag and drop any template to where you want your special slide (just like you would to create your own normal slide).
Click the notes button to open the right-hand drawer (the same place you can enter notes):
Click in the Find tags field and choose prep-only.
Input whatever content you want into the slide as normal.
Click Done and then Publish when you've made all your changes.
Every adviser and paraplanner in your group or practice will see all prep-only slides in prep mode for every preso they make—to remind them of whatever instructions you’re imparting.
However, they never have to remember to turn them off or delete the internal notes, as LivePreso will turn it off automatically when the preso is being presented to or shared with your clients.
