This slide provides a means for your clients to formally sign off whatever you have proposed in your ROA or SOA document.

Manual signing of this slide is on by default, but you can configure one of our supported digital signing integrations for a smoother, seamless client experience. See Signing presos for more details.

Whether you opt for a manual or digital signing workflow, the process can be initiated by the adviser during a meeting (in Present mode) or by the clients from a shared preso. See Signing presos for more details.

Interactivity

  1. The client (or adviser on their behalf when presenting) chooses whether to proceed in full or with variations by clicking the appropriate checkbox.

  2. If they choose to proceed with variations, they can input the variations or additions into the text box.

  3. Once a choice has been made, the client (or adviser on their behalf when presenting) clicks Proceed to finalise the authority and “send for signing”.

Data

This slide only includes basic data like the adviser’s and clients' names.

Personalisation options

  1. Your practice admin can set your brand colour in HQ. In the screenshot examples above, the light blue used in the slide header and right-hand side headings is the brand colour.

  2. Your practice admin can set your practice’s colour palette in PresoManager. In the screenshot example above, the pink is the first of the colours in the chosen palette. The palette is also used throughout the deck for charts, entities and asset classes.

  3. Your practice admin can set your practice’s default text for the slide’s heading, introductory text and all body text in PresoManager.

Prep mode editability

When you open this slide in prep mode you will have the following editing options for your preso:

  1. You can edit the title of the slide (“Authority to Proceed” by default).

  2. You can edit the slide’s introductory text.

  3. You can edit the confirmation text/bullets on the left-hand side.

  4. You can edit all the headings and body text on the right-hand side.

Notes on PDF version

For the PDF version, depending on how much text you enter on the left-hand side and how much text is entered into the variations tex box, the slide may split across more than 1 PDF page to ensure all details are displayed clearly.

In this example, the left-hand side text was too long to fit (it scrolled on the interactive slide) so it uses the right-hand side as well on this page, with the proceed options moved to a second PDF page (below).

Upon completion of a digital signing process, the signing page in the PDF version will show the signatures on the slide:
