Xplan-integrated strategy text
Only available to users of the Advice Docs deck with Xplan strategy text configuration.
If your site hasn't been configured, contact us to organise your site’s setup now.
This mode of the strategy recommendations slide uses data pulled from Xplan. Editability in prep mode allows you to make small changes to text, and add additional items to your strategies.
Subslides
None by default, but a subslide will be created on the fly if you add notes to the slide.
Interactivity
The dropdown at the top filters the view to show the strategies for whichever entity is chosen, or All.
Clicking the strategy type, strategy heading or entity name in the table expands to list their respective details. Clicking them again collapses them.
You can create actions and notes before, after and even during your meetings:
Note: The inclusion of strategy type, strategy heading and entity name is determined by your data. If this information was not part of your site’s configuration, these accordions will not exist.
Data
The mapping of strategy text fields is unique to your Xplan site’s configuration. Talk to your practice admin about where strategy recommendations have been configured on your Xplan site.
Personalisation options
Your practice admin can set your brand colour in HQ. In the screenshot example above, the light blue used in the header is the brand colour.
Your practice admin can set your practice’s colour palette in PresoManager. In the screenshot examples above, the pink and dark blue are 2 of the 3 the colours in the chosen palette. The palette is also used throughout the deck for charts, entities and asset classes.
Your practice admin can set your practice’s default text for the slide’s heading, introductory text and disclaimer text in PresoManager.
Prep mode editability
When you open this slide in prep mode you will have the following editing options for your preso:
You can edit the title of the slide (“Strategy recommendations” by default).
You can edit the slide’s introductory text.
You can edit strategy type, strategy heading and line item text:
You can add, edit and remove additional custom line items:
Click the plus icons to add additional custom line items.
Click the delete icons to remove custom line items.
You can preview your changes by clicking the Preview changes toggle at the bottom of the screen.
Note: line items provided by Xplan strategy text data cannot be hidden or removed (ie. only line items added in prep mode can be removed).

The PDF version of this slide will include as many pages as required to display all of the expanded views.
